An initiative of Shruti More, occupational therapist and founder of the Samphia Foundation in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Therapy on Wheels is a mobile therapy center that provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to children with disabilities in their villages. This initiative also plays an active role in spreading awareness and providing information regarding disability issues. An in-built projector is used to help educate local residents about the importance of early detection and intervention of disabilities. CHAI provided funding to retrofit this bus in the preparation phase of the Therapy on Wheels program.
